TravellersMap is a modern map of traveling, which aims at promoting the "Hellenic world" as well as at acquainting the general public with rare archival material. TravellersMap is the outcome of a successful series of tours, known as "Online guided tours in Asia Minor" and "Online tours in the Aegean", both of which occurred as an example of reusing the online meetings as imposed by the covid-19 pandemic.

With an emphasis on Ηellenic civilization, the aim was to create a dialogue about history through rare sources with the wider public. TravellersMap acts as an alternative tour guide. Through the interactive map and the filters provided, the users have the ability to navigate the region of eastern Mediterranean, and to learn about the cradles of Hellenism based on their interests.

The intention of the Aikaterini Laskaridis Foundation is to transform the abundant material stored in its archival collections, with the ambition that TravellersMap will constitute a dynamic and useful learning tool.

As the online meetings are in progress, TravellersMap will be updated at regular periods of time
